What is whip coverage? I tuned into ESPN2 to catch the end of the X women's game against Vandy and all they showed was Notre Dame throttling Vermont.

While Notre Dame is up 20 points with 5:00 to go, Xavier and Vandy are exchanging leads with a minute to go. ESPN never switched to the game. What is whip coverage?

Looks like the women won 63-62 after being down 60-54 with 2:15 to go.

Well, the whole game was on espnu, so maybe they assumed they didn't need to put it on espn2, but that sounds really stupid.

The game was on ESPNu in Cincinnati and they carried the whole game.
