The Philly teams all play each other for the Big 5... would be Temple, St. Joe's, Villanova, LaSalle and University of Philadelphia.

It's actually a pretty cool scheduling arrangement for these 5 schools (xuab, it's U Penn, not U of Philadelphia) and generates decent interest in Philly. I used to go watch some of these games when they played at the Palestra.

It would be akin to our mythical Miami Valley championship, back when we (Miami, UD, UC, XU) all played each other annually.

I never realized what the SJ banner was about. "Perfect Season" is one thing, but then to list your record with 2 losses???????

I understand they were talking about the regular season, but, wtf???

I get local area bragging rights, but putting it on the banner? That's so Snipe.
