None from the Mountain West is somewhat surprising.

Maybe not Wags - the only team that was supposed to advance by virtue of seeding was New Mexico. But they just looked like they couldn't match up with Washington at all.

For as much flak as the Pac-10 got this year, that's more of an indictment of how mediocre the conference was below Cal and UW. The rest of the conference really dragged their RPIs down, and UW is playing like the Top 25 team they were projected to be at the beginning of the year.
