I use my Iphone when I'm driving or doing something where I can let my attention wander. When I have some other time I use a laptop.

Firefox on my Mac and Safari on my iPhone. I've been pretty satisfied with my ability to read the site on my iPhone. It retains the log-in info better than other sites I visit and loads quickly enough. I've not tried posting, though.

Agreed. Crackberrys are great for email but not much else. Waiting for Verizion to work out details to bring on board the iPhone. I will be there in line on that day. I also use the laptop quite a bit, especially as the weather starts to wam up; it's nice to sit out on the deck w/ an ice cold beer.

You gotta be kidding me. I have had texts disappear for hours before delivery, dropped calls left and right, dead spots, no service, terrible customer service, and then there was the 2 times recently where I couldn't make a call out at all (same with the Chickey) for a couple of hours. Plus they are overly expensive. I believe I saw that out of the major carriers AT&T was rated last in terms of customer satisfaction.

I get occasional issues with texts, but i can't remember my last dropped call. I haven't had any reason to call them for customer service, so other than the fact that everything is where it's supposed to be, and my bill is correct every month, I can't really comment on customer service.

I'm with Kahns here Thor. Verizon customer service was AWEFUL! They were absolutely incompetent every time I called. I had an issue with them for the entire length of my contract and it wasn't resolved until I contacted the corporate office and harrassed them into fixing the problem. Their coverage might be a bit more consistent than AT&T if you travel much outside the 3G network but I had missing texts and dropped calls with Verizon too.
And I can't believe AT&T is last in customer service, or did Sprint go bankrupt recently? Talk about awful.
Sorry. Rant over.

CBS has a free app called NCAA March Madness Lite that has a trackable bracket. You could also drop $9.99 and get the full version of the app and have access to live streaming video of every game.

I haven't tried it with Xavier Hoops yet, but I'm going to now. It works with just about any other site that updates pretty regularly.
I'm with Kahn's too. I will not be switching when AT&T loses it's exclusivity. Much better than Sprint that I had beforehand.

The big kicker for me is that, while Verizon has larger coverage with their 3g network, it comes at the expense of speed and available bandwidth. AT&T's 3G network is significantly faster (based on a Wired report that I read about a month ago) and allows talking and streaming data at the same time. Verizon's does not.
For some reason I now feel like a guy that just caught the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of nude people jumped out of my bathroom blindfolded like a goddamn magic show ready to double team my girlfriend...

It's pretty sweet, isn't it? It will be even better when OS 4 comes out in June and you can create folders on the home page. No longer will I have pages and pages of porn links. I can now group them in folders: lesbian porn, foot fetish porn, farm porn, geriatric porn...

I visit XH on my AT&T iphone as well. I have many of the same issues you are having. Dropped calls being the most irritating. I work downtown on 7th street and I get very spotty reception there. I have had verizon in the past and been very happy with them. If Verizon got the iphone I would absolutely jump ship.
It is interesting how people's experiences with AT&T vary so widely. I wonder if part of the issue is with the phone itself?

So you cannot listen to 700 or 55KRC live streaming on iPhone Safari because it requires Flash which Apple blocks from being installed. Neither station has an app.
Any other way to get live streaming from those stations on the iPhone?

Iheartradio for Amx's specific problem, but for those that want an iPhone web browser with flash capabilities, Skyfire is the way to go. It's $3, but it's worth it if you want to see websites in their native format with flash.

Interesting to see how my opinion of AT&T has changed since May.
I used to have a lot of reception problems, particularly downtown where I work. This was a big problem for me because my iPhone is my work and personal cell phone. It seems to have been largely corrected though. For the past few months I haven't really had any issues.
I can't wait for Verizon to get the iPhone, but I will probably stay with AT&T. Hopefully some defections to Verizon will further improve the AT&T network performance.

Strong work. Take the afternoon off. I wondered if it was a Clear Channel thing to not have apps, but now I see that app is for all their stations. They should work on having it come up when an individual station is searched in the app store.
My immediate concern is catching the pregame on the way home. I would have listened to the Chris Mack Show while running last evening, but that is less pressing since I can download the podcast and listen the next day at work.

Yes, TapATalk is good and I would love to see it implemented here. During the work hours I'm not allowed on the internet on my work pc, so I have to use my phone (HTC EVO) to view xavierhoops. It gets the job done viewing wise, but it can be a hassle to post from it.

Absolutely. I mentioned it in the suggestions forum and Muskie said that Svo is experimenting with it. I currently use tapatalk and would love to read XHoops through that app.
