I was on the Minneapolis Star-Tribune this morning to see what their perspective on everything is, apparently the Minnesota Golden Gophers have a first round match-up against the Xavier Bulldogs. Don't you guys know by now? Our mascot name changes each time we make the tournament. I remember in 2004 we were the Mountaineers. I swear the middle of the pack Big Ten schools like Wisconsin and Minnesota truly live in their own worlds.

I actually bought a hat at the school bookstore that has on it "Muskateers." I didn't notice that misspelling until a month after I got it and someone pointed it out. Granted the "Muskateers" is rather small print, but still...
