I hope the coaches/players read some of these chat boards on ESPN/Rebkells and use it as motivation for the NCAA's. Every post I saw that mentioned Xavier on either of those sites that discuss women's hoops have simply dismissed Xavier and virtually laughed at them making it past the 2nd round or sweet sixteen. Most of them commented that we should not be a 2 seed. It really made me mad reading that crap. I hope we can prove them all wrong this year.
If any coaches or players are reading this make sure that you prove them all wrong! Lets go X!!!!

Also no rspect from the selection commitee, Xavier men have a friday date in Milwaukee, which means if they advance to the second round the game will be sunday which will conflict with the womens 1st round at Cintas.
Not sure if the commitee has ever paid any attention to conflicts like that, but they are both working for the NCAA, I'd think they might take a look at that.
Hoping it doesn't detract from the atmosphere at Cintas. Maybe I'll just have to be that much louder.

I'll be right below you XU-PA in the bottom section but I better hear you!!! That is a tough situation though. Maybe the times will be different. Have you looked at that?

We don't know that for sure XU-PA; according to the game times assigned to the Cincinnati subregional the Xavier women are likely going to be in the 12:00 time slot. This would only be a conflict if CBS decides to air a potential Xavier-Pitt game in that time slot. We won't know the game times for the weekend for the men until Friday night.

the problem is that if the times are close, I think the mens game will pull some potential fans away from Cintas.
I've been scouring the internet for some hint of when that sunday matchup will be.
Obviously there will be 2 games on sunday in Milwaukee, I saw times from one of the ticket brokers, the first game appears to be at noon, second game would then be 2:30.
Same times for the games at Cintas sunday.
So holding my breath. My hope is that they will be in slots that follow eachother and we can all meet at Dana's to watch the men either before or after the women take their first step
Flying 1000 miles to watch our women romp, I'm counting in lots of noise at Cintas to go along with 4 xavier wins next weekend!

It's a 2:30 start time for Xavier and ETSU. Our old friend Melanie Balcomb will have Vandy playing in the opener.

Melanie scares me. We all know what she can do.
