I just stole that idea from UDpride. But it's such a good idea that I think it's worth repeating here.
The best thing about Pittsburgh would be location. It would be an easy drive for everyone except St. Louis, UMass and Rhode Island. Pittsburgh has a major airport. Attendance would likely be up.
It would be nice to play in a real stadium that doesn't leak. And Pittsburgh would be a sort of fun city to have it in.

I like that idea, but I think the A-10 wants the tournament either in Philadelphia or just a short distance from it. I have nothing to back that up, just a gut feeling. I can see it going back to Philly before coming west. There really is no A-10 fan base in Pittsburgh (except for some very loyal Duquesne fans), and somehow I don't think very many people in the Philly area would make the trip, as it is nearly 300 miles away.
Edit: And further from the other east coast schools.

It would have made sense back when Pitt and West Virginia used to be part of the conference, but now the only schools within 100-150 miles would be Duquesne and St. Bonaventure. Even the Ohio schools have about a 5-hour drive to Pittsburgh which isn't too bad, but Duquesne just doesn't have attendance numbers to justify moving the tournament there like they did at UD Arena and USBank Arena with X fans in attendance.
The new Penguins arena would definitely be a big plus if the tournament were ever played in Pittsburgh again.

There would be no homecourt advantage because absolutely no one would be there.
Atlantic City is fine.

QC:
The A10 doesnt have the Philly tie in anymore since the league office has moved to Newport News, VA. The Pittsburgh site is on the radar from what I heard awhile back but it wasnt done in time to sign a contract. AC was able to keep it for a few more years but with the offices not there, I would anticipate Shittsburgh getting a chance to host it.....
