in watching the Georgia Tech game last night, B-Espn in all of their wisdom and, of course, their continual disrespecting of the A-10 had their Tournament Resume for the Yellow Jackets.

They had udump listed as a "bad loss". What?

Hey, I hate the school up north as much as anybody, other than the McCormick family and Thor, but...

Since when is a team with a 52 RPI with 20 wins in a Top 6 rpi league a "Bad Loss?" Seriously.

I really think B-Espn has a real hard on for the Atlantic 10.

I think the term bad loss was a little misused there. It wasn't a "bad" loss in terms of losing to a bad team, but instead was a bad loss since it is a loss to a team they are competing for a bubble spot with. So when they are the last two on the bubble UD gets the trump card by winning head to head. So in that way, it is a bad loss, but not in the normal way that term is used.

I didnt see it but I would think this line of thinking is correct, especially around this time of year.

If this was something the announcers simply mentioned, I might agree. But when those graphics are put together, "bad loss" is usually used to signify a loss that is a negative on someone's at-large resume. Of course, maybe they are using anything under #50 in RPI as a bad loss. It would be silly to do so, but at least it would explain the listing of UD.

I'm having trouble figuring out how Dayton is still on the bubble. They don't have a good win on the road.

Look at the bubble, if Washington and Az. state are still on it, then everyone is.
