Only 6,900 showed up last night for the Cryers' A10 tourney game vs. GW. Capacity is over 13,000. I found this article amusing:

Amusing because:
1)GW can't count to 5 - they've been T'd up 3 times against UD and yet Hobbs claims it had no bearing on the game last night...
2)Gregory has to ask who's playing on the court at any given moment, especially the endgame.

HAHA oh....Dayton.
Well they have reached a new low, would you go to watch? They used to host an NCAA play-in game. Now they host an A10 play-in game.
Oh, how the "mighty" have fallen.

I think it's safe to say the boos were likely directed at Gregory, and not the players themselves.
UD fans, and everyone else, know this mediocre season falls on the shoulders of "BG"

Several UD fans were on the A-10 board saying that they weren't going to attend this game. I thought that they were full of it and the arena would be packed. I figured that almost all UD fans would go regardless of the team's performance. I guess I was wrong.

The single most hilarious quote ever.
Why would anyone play for this clown?

Coaches really need to stop commenting on booing. I could teach a course.

Told you guys it would be around 6k. I had several people tell me that the "actual attendance" was lower than the 6,900 they announced.
Gregory is beginning to tread on thin ice, I find it hard to believe that he actually thinks the fans were booing the players (some were, don't get me wrong). However, the loudest chorus of boos was after he took Benson and Searcy out after in 60 seconds they combined for 4 points, 2 rebounds, and a block, they were promptly subbed for. Literally 60 seconds after they checked in. I have never heard a louder chorus of boos in any sporting event at any level.
Gregory is an idiot. If he doesn't do something drastic to finish the year and in the off season, like hire new assistants there will be a lot of season tickets not renewed. For the most part the average fan and a lot of season ticket holders have turned on this guy.
I was actually a tad embarassed about the attendance....untill I saw Butler had under 6,100 a home league championship game, that included a "sizable" WSU contingent.

Okay, which one of you posted as Binnie Huelstiff in the comments area of that first article? I cracked up when I saw that.
