little slow on the start for XU, but they're off to a 10-2 start in the first 6 minutes.

Crowd sounds good for X, nice to have both the band and a good crowd of cheerleaders on hand for the Musketeers. We are certainly well represented.

Watching the CBS web feed, fair quality, listening to Schmaltzy high quality as always.

I'm at the game. I'd be curious to know how the tournament ended up being played here. We're at an equestrian park in suburban Maryland — the basketball court only takes up roughly half of the floor. The crowd is pretty light, but that's no surprise.

We look great defensively except for closing out on their three-point shooters. Coach is pretty unhappy with the wings for giving up those open looks. On offense, we're turning the ball over way, way way too much.

29-21 at halftime.

1st half was maddening. Xavier looks like they are taking it easy, and there doesn't appear to be any reason to speed it up. Take away a couple long threes and Richmond would be getting destroyed. 8 point lead at the half for XU 29-21.

Hope that the ladies are saving something here, it's obvious that they want 3 wins in 3 days and need to have a substantial amount of gas remaining in the tank on monday. There is certainly no need for urgency, yet. Richmond only shooting about 30% from the field. XU winning the board battle, and pounding the ball down low scoring about 2/3 of their points in the paint. Xavier not shooting lights out but a very respectable 45%.

It was a win

Only 6 points from our bench. Special, Amber and April in double figures, Amber with the double double. Ta'Shia one point away from a double double. We were 20-32 from the line. they were 5-6, guess what the strategy was???

Yeah, that's pretty much about all to say about this one. Pretty awful performance by the team as a whole. Gotta be really concerned right now.

The refs bailed us out big time in this one.

However, I thought April Phillips had a really good overall game. In addition, Special had a really good 1st half.
