Will the Rainbow Brite Fan Club have T-shirts made to commemorate their special achievement in A10 futility?

The Fordham Rainbows, that could be their new team nickname, and would stop tarnishing the nickname and mascot of that other fine A10 school.

Only Fordham can score 100 points and lose

Congrats to Fordham! They are the first to pull this off since before we joined the league.

This situation calls for... Linda Bruno? Ugh, I'm not going to be the one to say there's nowhere to go but up from here.

I would not be surprised if next year they went 0-16 again...even with a new coach and new players. This program has shown me that the only thing they can do consistently is lose...A LOT

Too bad they can't play in the A10 tourney...they might have a chance to knock someone off

As the 14 seed, they'd get #3 Richmond. I think they could do it!!!

Why the hell did they play at noon on a Friday?

Wanted to get it over with as soon as possible (and Duquesne refused to play at 8 am).

The actual story is that the Palumbo Center is being used for a high school tournament tomorrow, and Duquesne forgot that relatively important fact when this game was scheduled.

This seems appropriate here....

Are you sure that was Duquesne's oversight and not the A-10s?

FU ends up 0-16 in A-10

A rare instance where Thanks for Playing can't even be used.

With the right coach and a commitment to recruiting I do not see why Fordahm couldn't compete for an A10 title every year. Out of all the teams in the conference they have undoubtedly the greatest "upside." There is plenty of talent playing in the PSAL if they really commit hard to recognizing talent and locating the so-called "diamonds in the rough" I don't see why they couldn't become a St. Joe's caliber team.

I really think their location is a blessing and a curse...I remember from visitng the campus and being shocked by how "bad" the surrounding area was. I know it is the bronx...but there was a fence that basically outlined the entire campus for a reason. I dont think it was very safe

Man, Fordham really got hosed by that one - lost to Xavier at home, ending at 9pm (or so) Wednesday, then have to turn it around, get to Pittsburgh, and be ready to play again Friday at noon. Yikes. Good thing that didn't happen to a real A10 team.

Just for a moment, can you imagine Sean Miller's tirade if that happened to us. I do recall he used a few choice words when we had some Thursday/Saturday pairings last year. (Excluding, of course the one at Taco Bell Arena :))

Hey Fordham, did you even know that if you can somehow manage to win the A10 tourney, you get to play even MORE basketball?
