If Xavier wins tomorrow, the Muskies will be ranked ahead of the Longhorns. Quite a fall for the Horns this year.

So did enough teams lose to allow us to be ranked if we win tomorrow?

Well we should at least take those votes that previously went to Richmond. That alone would put us over the top.

Rick Barnes has to be the worst coach who continually attracts top level talent year in and year out.

Vastly overated. No one does less with more. He lucked out that the injury bug struck.
Players don't go there for the coaching though - they go for the facilities.

This Texas team reminds me of the Alabama team that was ranked #1 and didn't make the tourney (or was a really bad seed, I forget which exactly).
Everyone talks about their depth, but they just suck. I will add that A&M is getting hot at the right time though.

I disagree with this. His coaching record speaks for itself: 1 Final Four, 3 Elite 8s, 5 Sweet 16s. It is difficult to win in March regardless of the talent on the team (see the 2006 UConn and their 4 first round picks).
