I'm sure many of you, if not all of you, are watching the 'Nova vs. 'Cuse game.
There are some seats in the Carrier Dome being occupied by fans that are on the other side of the country, at least it seems. Can't believe how fans could sit that far away from the court.

Anyway, it has been a great game so far, and I'm rooting for Nova, even though I live in NY, because I hate everything NY. I may be the only guy in NY not rooting for Cuse.

I have a cousin at the game. Does anyone else on this thread have any friends or relatives at the game?

What else is there to do in Syracuse?

If they were playing Xavier I would be there though.

Screw Syracuse and bitchy little Boeheim.

I want Syracuse to roll so Villanova will play well at UC this week and stomp em.

Absolutely agree with the bolded statement. It is funny because the fans wanted a travel a minute ago, and after hearing the uproar, Boehiem decides to play along and starts rumbling his fists. Can't stand him. He is good at developing players and recruiting, thats about it.

And to answer your question on what else there is to do in Syracuse, well... nothing. I think everyone in NY has been to the Carrier Dome, and thats the only reason anyone would go to Syracuse.

Nope. I've watched at least portions of MWC, MVC, PAC-10, Big XII, and SEC games today, but no Big East. My hate for the Big East runs deep. I barely tolerate their highlights...

Cintas needs to sound like the Carrier Dome does tonight, with 1/3 the people!

Rhyno,

Where in Upstate NY do you live? I live in Rome. Didn't think there were any others around here.

I've been watching Loyola Marymount at St. Mary's on Comcast just to avoid the B-Espn crap.

I live in a small town called Horseheads. Many people think its a wierd name for a town, but there is a reason it is called that. I guess Indians found a bunch of Horse's heads way back when, but that's off topic. Horseheads is a neighbor of Elmira, which might ring a bell to you. I live about 45 minutes from Binghamton. Those are the best clues I can give you.

BTW, I have been through Rome, NY, but I don't remember anything about it.

Syracuse is the best team in the country hands down...I am fully conviced after tonight they can play with and beat anyone..that 2-3 zone is suffocating, they fast break better than anyone i have ever seen, and they go about 7-8 guys deep and they didnt seem like they lost a step tonight no matter who was on the floor...They impressed me tonight

I agree that Cuse can play with anyone. There is no doubt about that. But, as we saw in the Pitt vs. Cuse game and the Lville vs. Cuse game, if the other team can knock down their fair share of jumpers, then they will have a good chance to win. Also, if the other team has a big man, like Samardo Samuels, that can handle Onuaku and Jackson, then that is just another plus for the other team.

I just figured that the Corleone family had spent some time there.

I am the same way. I usually have a team in each conference that I pull for but I can't find one damn team in the Big East that I can tolerate. I end up rooting for the worst for all of their teams.

Syracuse did as much to beat themselves in those two losses, as Pitt and L'ville did to beat them. If the Cuse plays anywhere close to thier potential, they will be very hard to beat. As a Syracuse fan for most of my life (Obviously my #2 team now), I can say that is a very real possibility. They'll come out and lay a dud at some point.

Ron Mexico and I were both thinking the same thing. I hope 'Nova comes to town on Tuesday and annihilates UC.

If head to head matchups are to be trusted, Syracuse isn't even the best team in Syracuse, NY.
