Awesome performance by the big guy, what a fun game to watch. D West took that game over, and Orlando had nothing to stop him. He made Dwight Howard look like Keith Watermelonhumperski. Dude is star.

West is making 9 mil+ this year, which is actually down from years past because he had a front loaded contract.

I believe that he will be a restricted free agent this upcoming year, but I too ain't an NBA guy, so I'm not sure.

After this year, West has 2 years left at about $8m per year. He is wildly underpaid. It might be the worst contract in the league from the player's perspective (a great contract for the Hornets).

Unfortunaltey, he signed the deal right before his 1st all star season when his value wasn't as high as it is now.

BTW Big Greased product Okafor, who every one was pumping coming out of college, sucks. He did absoulutely nothing in the game against the Cavs that I went to last Tuesday and has been a poor replacement for Tyson Chandler in the middle all year.

The Hornets need a center and Okafor is not it. If they get one they could be dangerous but they need a big guy in the middle so DWest can play the 4 unencumbered.

David Freaking West doesn't need Chris Paul.

Idiot Hornet fans on the internet who think West is lazy and that the Hornets should trade him. Them and the media just refuse to give West credit. West is just as, or maybe more, important to the Hornets as CP3 is.
