West Lafayette holds their collective breath as they wait to hear the extent (hopefully lack thereof) of the knee injury to Robbie Hummel. It would be terrible news for Purdue and go a team that has been flying high, on pace for a #1 seed. I hope it's nothing serious...the kid has worked too hard and deserves better than a season/career ending injury.

Damn that doesn't sound good. Hopefully everything is ok structurally, and it's just a bruise. Didn't he have back problems last year?
They are a legit Final Four contender with him.

Unfortunately that has to be a ligamentous injury, hopefully just a strain though.

They would have been a threat in the tournament last year if he didn't have to play with a brace on for his broken back. Now this.
Tough luck for Purdue. If everyone comes back I think they could be a contender but I don't see Johnson staying.

Makes sense, ACLs in basketball are usually non contact injuries.
