After a pretty solid first half, the boys of the Yellow Toothed Gnome are reverting to chokaholic form.

Damn. Now Borecats up 1 with 4 to go.

How lucky was SucKS there?

Nylon Wright jacks up a shot and the rebound goes right to Davis.

No Nancy Gates nor Stephenson in the game in the last 4 minutes.

I guess Gnome does not trust those guys at crunch.

Tie game. 27.5 to go SucKS ball.

Gnome. Why have a 50% free throw shooter in Thomas in the game with a 3 point lead?

Overtime.

Another question, Gnome.

Why have Burlap Wright just dribble around and fumble the ball then your guys jack up a 28 foot 3. Can't you get the ball to your senior Vaughan or how about Mr. One and Done Stephenson?

Is Gnomus really going down with Gates on the bench? Why?

Does Yellow Fang complain about every damn official call?

Just like the Midget.

Please Bore-cats. Give the Gnome a 10 year extension. Please!

Looks like UC and Dayton punched their tickets to the NIT on the same day.

Another classic late season collapse by Mick. They close the season with:

Nova at home - L
@WVU - L
@Georgetown - L
(not necessarily in that order)

That will be a nice NIT first round game.

Is there any way both teams could lose or does their always have to be a winner?

It will have to be at 5/3rd right? I mean Dayton's arena will be busy hosting the real tournament.

Maybe Cronin was just preparing those guys to sit on the bench at the end of Association games. Stephenson/Gates look like they could be the new Bill Walker and Ronny Turiaf. No one cheers harder at the end of the bench than those two (actually Gates needs a lot of work to get on Ronny's level, but Stephenson looks like a raw Bill Walker jumping up and down on the sidelines).

You mean the Bulgarian Basketball Association, right?

Nancy may make the WNBA- after a stint in Europe- if it survives.

UD may draw Wright State in the NIT instead. Could that one be at the Nutter Center instead?

Don't worry MOR - UC can't afford to fire Toby, err, Cronin. He's stuck at UC for the foreseeable future.

Since when does a public institution such as UC have to honor a balanced budget? Please.

They'll be playing an NIT game, so yes, both teams will lose.

I read in the Enquirer about a month ago that the Ohio General Assembly typically gives the largest portion of their funds to Ohio State, and Cincinnati generally gets roughly equal funding as Cleveland State. Also the despite the football team's success the past few years that team has been losing money due a small stadium size. And as a grad student I know how much little money UC receives. After all I am currently Hickville, North Carolina to do research for because it is costing the University a few Gs less to do it here than in Ohio (How? I do not know, I didn't pay attention to that part).

As a Marquette alum (Grad School), I really enjoyed Mick & Co. choke down the stretch. I am not sure it was due to how Marquette played. I think it was more of UC choking. Nonetheless, I will take it. UC blows.

Anyone know why Mick chose to sit his 2 best players for end of game and OT?
