Gentlemen,

I read daily (I'm never logged in) but very seldom post. I do know that several of you, especially you Mr N, are golf experts. I am taking some customers on a golf trip and we want to go South, probably somewhere in FL. I've looked into Innisbrook as well as the Wold Golf Village (which I have played the King & Bear), both look as though they would be what I'm looking for, but I'm looking for any other suggestions . Or, if any of you guys have played at either of these two resorts, I'd appreciate your opinions. Thanks guys, here's to another win today!

Check out World Woods north of Tampa and west of Orlando near Brooksville, FL. Superb. Not the easiest place to get to, but well worth it.

Two spectactacular 18 hole courses by Tom Fazio.

I don't know many days you're going for, but there are other good tracks around that you could play besides the two there. Depending on what airport you fly into, you could golf your way back to Orlando or Tampa. I would suggest you fly into Tampa and then you can take Suncoast Parkway up to Brooksville. You can then work your way around.

Dash should have a couple of other ideas.

Golfpacttravel mentions Plantation Inn in Crystal River. I've been there many times - nice facilities and very laid back - OK golf course, but lots of wildlife. You can use this as a base with some truly great courses within 30 minutes, like World Woods mentioned above, and El Diablo. Plantation Inn won't break the budget either.
