Can't believe I have to ask this question of an X fan, but define mid-major..

And no matter how you define it, the A10 can challenge the BCS conferences on a regular basis. It was equal to the SEC last year, and the Pac 10 this year. This year is particularly impressive because Fordham is really really bad.

I see no benefit in refering to your own program or conference as mid-major, except to maybe somehow lower the expectations of your superiors, so I agree.
