The La Salle Explorers visit the Cintas Center, the on-campus home of Xavier University. La Salle is 1-4 lifetime at the Cintas Center.
Last Game:
On December 30, 2008 La Salle defeated St. Bonaventure 84-61, paced by Darnell Harris' 21 points. Xavier last played six days ago when they defeated UMASS 77-65 in Amherst.
Previous Meeting:
Xavier clinched a share of the A-10 Regular Season Championship, on March 3, 2007, when they defeated La Salle 76-65 in Philadelphia. Drew Lavender led the team with 20 points.
Keys to the Game:
Defense. A common theme this season. Xavier must continue to play tenacious defense combined with aggressive rebounding in the paint. Momentum will be key heading into a tough rough game against the Billikens.
The X-Factor:
Stanley Burrell was continue his great defensive play against Darnell Harris, who was 7-7 from behind the arc on Thursday night against St. Bonaveture.
