I was looking at the Real Time RPI today and noticed that ud is heading south. In looking at Temple's schedule I noticed that X is considered a $$ good win, which seems to be the highest. ud is considered a $ good win.
Thngs could change tomorrow. If X wins, ud at 15-7, 4-4 in league, two losses to X, a road loss to SJU and a weak OOC schedule, seem to really be on the outside looking in for an NCAA birth short of winning the conference. On the other hand, a win versus X gives them a $$ win, some momentum and an outside shot of winning the regular season championship.
I think that tomorrow will define ud's entire season and for one I am hoping it is swirling down the drain by mid-afternoon.

Dayton is supposed to get 6 inches of snow, not ice, with most coming tonight. I would be stunned if they past up a national TV game due to 6 inches of snow.

They have two big games coming up at home: Xavier and Charlotte. I think if they beat us, they're right back in it as far as Tourney hopes. If not, I don't see them beating Charlotte.
So, yes, I'd say this game is pretty huge for them. But it's big for us as well. Don't underestimate how badly Xavier would like to beat UD.

If this game was played a month ago, I would have given UD a 75% chance of winning.
Now it's more like 52%
If they win they're in, albeit an 11 or so seed like last year.
If they lose its only lose 1 more or sweat it out, and with games vs Charlotte, @Temple and @Richmond that's not looking good.
MUST WIN

Dayton has to split XU and Charlotte, avoid bad losses and hope the other 5 A10 teams get a bad loss or two. I say they lose to both us and Charlotte, get a bad loss somewhere and will be heading to the NIT.
