Wow, I was just mentioning to someone not to long ago (maybe to surf, Cheesehead or someone else), when will a men's team wear pink for cancer.....and Today Illinois is doing just that. The players all have pink Nike's on and instead of orange and blue outline of the uniforms, the white home unis have pink on them....So is the "Pink" the color for all cancer awareness now??? I thought that was for breast cancer...atleast that is what I associate it with.....and light blue for prostate cancer....

I know URI had a pink-out a year or two ago for cancer, but I don't remember if it was only the crowd or if the team wore pink on their unis too.

I remember that and I think that was just the students....

If I am not mistaken, earlier this week Oregon wore white and pink jerseys as well.

I think UNC had pink as part of the uniforms earlier in the season. It wasn't overwhelming, but they definitely had pink wastebands. (Considered saying they had "pink trim" but that could give a totally different visual!)

This may be something we get to look forward to next year. I believe all the teams in question (Illinois, Oregon and NC) are all Nike Elite teams.
