If the field were selected today, I think the conference would get 3 teams: Temple, Rhody and X. If the conference were to get a 4th bid, I'm not sure who it would go to. Richmond had the better OOC of the remaining contenders I think, so I'd have to put them in the lead. Up 'til now, pretty much all tourney projections from the media have included Dayton, but my guess is this will change given their two game losing streak.

X still has a lot of work to do to solidify its at-large resume, but it would seem that a 4th bid, if it happens, will come down to Richmond, Dayton & Charlotte.

it pains me to say this, but all Dayton has to do is get a win streak going and the lovefest by the media for them will return.

If Charlotte beats Temple, Dayton holds on by their finger nails, maybe falls to "next team in", replaced by URI or Charlotte, but gone on 2/6.

Does Charlottes win over Temple (along with the rest of their resume) put them in the field if it were selected today? I think they'd have a very good case.
