I heard some of Mick's show last night and all he does is whine about how tough the Big East is. He's a douche and I think he is gone unless UC makes the tourney this year. All the UC fans I know don't really seem to like or support the guy.

As far as what they bring to their teams you cannot compare Crawford and Downey. If he did take that many shots it didn't even seem like it because he does so many other things that Crawford doesn't. Without Downey KY wins big. That kid was amazing tonight. The wildcats perched at #1 did not last long at all.

OK. Crawford shoots the ball better, rebounds better and has a better assist to TO ratio not to mention he is on a better team. Some say South Carolina would not be 12-8 if Downey was more of a team player. Yes he was good last night but if Xavier was 12-8 with a guy chucking it 27 times a game people would go nuts.

Chris Warren from Ole Miss is almost the same player. I watched Downey and Warren go head-to-head in Oxford last week, and they are both unbelievably quick. Kennedy almost got Downey to go to Ole Miss. When he signed Warren, he said that he had his Downey clone. At the time, I thought he was joking.

Side note on the SC-UK game. I am hearing that Cousins belted an SC fan twice in the melee after the game. He has had fan issues before. I wonder if any pictures or tape of the event will eventually surface. I was on an SC board earlier, and it seems very likely that it did occur.
