UMass could have a tough game at SLU. Talk about a contrast in styles. It will be interesting to see if Dayton gives URI a game. Charlotte needs to win to keep at large hopes alive.

It's really looking like Little will play tomorrow. If he does, and is able to go 18-20 minutes, Dayton could give Rhody a game. They did beat them with Wright only playing a few minutes. It all comes down to effort. If the Flyers win or stay close in the rebounding and turnover battle, they can win. Rhody will give them plenty of open looks on offense. I imagine they'll throw some gimmicks at BRob, so it's all about Sandoval, Johnson, and Warren taking it to the hoop aggressively.

The sweep of Rhody? That would be a huge win for UD.

I would like to see Dayton give them a game.

Charlotte has the pivotal game this weekend; Richmond has the best chance IMHO to crash the party with an upset. Dayton won't have as much pressure to win at URI as the Rams do; they cannot afford to be swept by the Flyers if they still want to harbor at-large NCAA hopes.

RI is up 18 on ud with about 12 left to play. Which would be a better result for X? A Rhody win to get back in to at large consideration or a ud win to put a little more distance between X and another potential A-10 challenger?

That would be a huge win for Richmond. Would help us out too since we only play Charlotte once this year. Richmond could wind up being the dark horse that crashes the party at the top of the a-10 this year.

Dayton just can't hit a shot. Sounds like they're getting open looks all day, but nothing is falling. Not going to win very often when you don't make shots.

82-70 Rhody wins. Flyers need to do something about their slide or they may very well need to win the a-10 tourney to make the big dance.

No offense, but aside from Roberts, who on UD can really shoot with any consistency?

SLU over UMass 71-59. Looks like league play is beating everyone up today, let's hope X is the exception.

From the perimeter? No one really.

But as far as taking it to the hole and inside...most of them. The problem is that Dayton tends to go away from that when they get behind by 8 or 10 and start chucking threes. They did well attacking the hole today. Huelsman, Little, Warren, even Binnie of all people. They just abandoned it for the most part between the 10:00 mark of the first half and the 10:00 mark of the second.

I don't know if they felt a bit panicked or just got caught up in the flow of the game or what. I just know that chucking threes is not UDs game. They did it against Umass and today...both losses.
