No kidding. They stayed within 25 of Charlotte on their home floor and almost beat Western Carolina at home. It's an utter outrage if any A-10 team gets an at-large and Louisville doesn't. An outrage!

UC and Louisville each made 23 field goals, with UC making 10 3-pointers in 20 attempts to 7 of 19 for the Cardinals. Louisville won the game at the free throw line, where it made 15 of 19 shots. The Bearcats shot only four free throws all day and made all four.

He didn't play the game before against South Florida, but he started this game. He obviously played in the 2nd half so it couldn't be so bad that he couldn't take a shot. Mo Egger was there for WLW and he tweeted about Lance not taking a shot in the 2nd half as well so he was obviously not happy with that fact.

Mick is a hell of a coach. Most guys would run plays for the team's best player but Mick flipped it on Pitino and decided not to use Lance. The element of surprise was his strategy today.

Charlotte beat Louisville by 22 earlier this season. UC would maybe finish in the top 6 of the A10

Why shouldn't he know that stuff? Isn't he the coach? Shouldn't he be doing scouting reports? Wouldn't looking at how often UofL sends guys to line be part of a scouting report? I would figure Mack would have the same info handy. I also bet if our guys lost a game with a huge disparity in foul calls/ free throws we'd be making points like this too.

In all seriousness UC would finish 7th, behind Temple, X, Richmond, URI, Charlotte, and Dayton. Then when he lost to GW he could talk about how the would win the MAAC.

I didnt watch the game so I dont know if he has a legitimate gripe on the free throw issue, but if you are taking a bunch of jump shots (not sure if they did or not) then you cant really complain about not getting to the line. There isnt always a conspiracy everytime there is a wide free throw disparity. Sometimes another team takes it to the hole more and it results in more fouls.

ok seriously - isn't this the same halftime showed that actually got Booed at the Cintas? I think I would pay someone not to have to watch that show again. Ok I would actually watch the dance team before I spent time watching those big animal heads.

I agree with D-West about the FT thing. It really, really bothers me when fans use the difference in FTs attempted as "proof" that the refs were bad or screwed their team. As has been said, one team could be attacking more while another is settling for jump shots. Too often an argument like "look how many more FTs they took, the refs clearly screwed us" is used. It gets old and is just whining.

That being said, I didn't see the game so for all I know the refs were horrible. I just hate this excuse being used as "proof"
