Ok, the campus is growing again

I would guess that since they're moving the dining hall out of Cintas, they would then make that into a new student work-out club. I would hope so. They need a place on that side of the campus. Long walk across Victory Parkway from the dorms.
Hey, buy a bond.

I wonder what interest rate they are going to get on 30-year money.

That seems unlikely. I would think another practice gym for the teams or another conference facility would make more sense, given the overall purpose of the building.

My broker called me about these bonds yesterday. I asked about the rate, he guessed about 3 - 4%. Xavier bonds are always well rated so the risk premium would be minimal.
He will call me with further info as it becomes available. If you want me to update let me know.

Hey, let us know what the face price of each bond is. I might call my broker too.

Hey Sash.
How about selling a bunch of them to that former coach of ours out in the desert.
He's got plenty of money to throw around.

That's true. Might be worth it anyway depending on what denominations they can be bought in (just to help support X after all).
Do you know the denominations? (if you want to email me you can).

I had a chance to buy Xavier bonds last year and passed for a variety of reasons. Price was at par and I had a chance to buy Simon Properties bonds at a deep discount, so I did. Also, when I grossed up the tax free rate to the all-in rate using my tax bracket it wasn't competitive with a taxable bond with significant upside to par value. It was the right move because both of the bonds I bought have reached par so there has been significant value appreciation.
