I just do not buy Wake. They beat Xavier because Ish Smith has a career night, and the guy has not hit a 3 since. The guy has 7 3's all year and was 3 for 3 against Xavier. He is 13-36 from the field and 0-5 from 3 the last 2 games. He was 10-14 from the field and 3-3 from 3 against Xavier.
On top of that they have a coach that wants no part of the Xavier series because he knows he will lose.

Wake will end the year with a losing conference record and will not make the tourney because their coach blows. At the end of this year they lose their only decent players and they will not be good next year. And people wonder why their coach want's no part of the Xavier series. It ain't because of Skip.

I hope Xavier does not cave to Dino. The guy will only be the coach at Wake for 2 more years max and the only reason he does not want to play Xavier is because he needs all the wins he can get.

you should know by now - if you are a Xavier fan. That every team we play (ok maybe not Fordham or the Olean welders) but almost every team we play has a player that has their best game ever against us. Someone we weren't expecting and someone who normally isn't very good. Its just the way the ball bounces.
