After only one year with Tennessee. I guess he traded the NCAA investigation for the OrangePride's Hostesses for all of the problems in Tojantown.
Doesn't this basically make him the Huggins of college football? KState=Tennessee, WV=USC.
This guy is a bit of a loose cannon, and he brings his daddy, Monte Kiffin, into the fold. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
What has been the biggest college change so far?
- Weis making millions of dollars to leave.
- UC being a stepping stone for coaches.
- Mangino, Leech, and the USF guy getting busted for harming players.
- Carroll leaving.
- Kiffin taking his place.

Odd choice by USC. I suspect Lane will be a disaster.

I hope this happens. I wasn't given the opportunity to properly make fun of all the UT fans at work because of the what happened to their basketball team.

Who does Lane pick a fight with first?

Absolute meltdown going on in Tennessee. I wonder if they get someone like Gruden.

USC could possibly be facing sanctions so they hire someone who has broken a bunch of recruiting rules (albeit minor ones) his one year as a head coach.

I hope Snoop Dogg...or Will Ferrell.
If he picks a fight with Rick Neuheisel I'll side with Kiffin. (I can't stand Neuheisel).
This turnover gives Harbaugh a chance to take over collegiate California football. Stanford doesn't have the star power of USC, but Harbaugh is one heck of a coach. I see him benefiting the most. Although Cal should also reap some of the rewards.

I hate coaches. Slimy breed.

I can see the slime trail all the way across the country, from Tennessee to Southern Cal. What a grease ball. He may rival Calipari as the slimiest guy in college sports.

I love some of the comments from the reporters covering the story.
"Kiffen is going to USC for an infraction of the price of other coaches."
"Kiffen has more reprimands than road wins."
"Lightweight coach takes over heavyweight program."
"Even OJ thinks Kiffen's image is questionable."

Gruden has been brought up for every decent and major NCAA and NFL coaching job but he's off limits for this year coming year because of the contract he signed in the fall for Monday Night Football which says that he can't coach in either for 2010.

The coach in charge of recruiting at Tennessee has been contacting recruits all day telling them not to attend classes so that they can go to USC without facing transfer penalties. And we were pissed at Sean for trying to take our recruits, can you imagine how UT fans are feeling?

That's pretty scummy.
