I have many memories of playing this in an arcade and at friends houses who were lucky enough to have the game. I am pumped.

Ah, yes my first memories of that game were when I was a Xavier student. They used to have it in the Downunder. Remember the Downunder?

Imennsely popular game, as I recall. "He's on FIRE!"

I have that for the Sega Genesis now, not that my Gensis is hooked up at the moment.

I'm still waiting on them to do a Wii version of NCAA Hoops...

Shawn Bradley was a beast in that game. I would always use him to just push down the opposing team over and over again until I found a code to get the gorilla mascot from the Phoenix suns. That sasquatch had brute strength unmatched by any player.

Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton were big in that game too.

Chris Paul and David West?

Now that would be fun.

I almost can't play NCAA 10 now. I finished my first season, lost in the elite 8 to Syracuse. I was excited because Crawford came back, and I had players very simiar to those coming in next year so I could just change their names and appearances and I had a good roster for the next season.

Well, I get to the transfer screen, and Mark Lyons was transferring. It really ticked me off, but I also said that's the realistic nature of the beast. I get the season started and decide to find out where Lyons went. Incredibly, of all the teams on the game, he went to Dayton. I don't want to start over again, but that just ain't gonna fly. In no way would such a transfer ever be allowed, or even considered by a Musketeer.

Blades of Steel (albeit a hockey game) was a better sports game by Konami. The fighting in that game was sophisticated for the NES back then.

I still play NBA Jam to this day. It is so nice to have a fun quick sports game that you don't have to spend an hour playing and doesn't include all of the intricacies of the modern games.

A good NBA Jam type game is NBA Hangtime on N64. It is the same game with a different title. I still break that one out once in awhile.

RBI Baseball - the good old days. Too bad the music was so awful I could have sworn they were using aluminum bats AND balls at times.

Tecmo Bowl - Adam, did you ever get to play Chicago and Washington on the gray field? That feature was awesome - playing with an invisible team.

EA Sports has the Hornets on their weekly poll (http://nba-jam.easports.com/home.action) (ends on Monday at 2PM, sorry for the late notice). Vote for CP3, D-West, and Po-Z.

Oh, and vote for Larry Hughes.

Baseball Stars was a great game too. Unfortunately didn't have MLB players.
