I tracked the three A10 games tonight on ESPNs scoreboard. The conference went 3-0, but two of the games were tight.

Richmond survived a major scare from UNC Wilmington. Richmond led most of the 1st and at halftime by about 6. But in the 2nd Wilmington caught them and built a 10 point lead with only about 6 minutes to go. Richmond came back though and ended up winning by just 2. A loss to UNCW on their home floor would have really damaged at-large hopes for the Spiders.

George Washington led by double digits at Holy Cross for most of the game. HC cut the lead late, but GW got a 2 point road win. HC isn't too good this year, but any road win is a good win.

And Temple beat Bowling Green handily, 63-39.

Wins are wins.

The A-10 will still be ranked 4th RPI tomorrow.

Johnny Wolf's average has fallen from 13.9 point a game during last season to 7.2.

Johnny Wolf should've started over Lavender...

Johnny Wolf should've started over Lavender...

What did Johnny eat for breakfast this morning?

Look, the kid stepped in and did a yeoman's job at the point with an injured hand when we magically won the A-10 Tournament in Racoon Face's second year. For that, he deserves to be a part of Xavier lore as a contributor to success. But he left because he knew that he wouldn't be getting much time behind DLav, and that was the way it should have been.

I know Band is just joshing, and I appreciate the sarcasm, but anyone who espoused that opinion of Johnny starting over Lavender was just drugged up, delusional, wore St. X glasses, or all of the above.

Temple actually had a throwback night of sorts at old McGonigle Hall; I can just see calls now coming to see X play an annual Cincinnati Gardens game.

Trick question. Johnny Wolf doesn't eat breakfast...and if he did he would eat excellance.
