If you were the Colts (and knowing that you have nothing left to play for in the regular season), what would you do?

A.) Go for broke - have the stones to go for an undefeated season.

B.) Rest the starters - the Super Bowl championship is the real goal.

In my opinion, Peyton Manning and the Colts should try for the undefeated season. Peyton already has a ring - why not try to be the best team in history?

I must say that I am a bit biased. I have Peyton Manning as my QB and I am in my "Super Bowl" Christmas weekend. So obviously I hope he plays the whole game. I don't think he will.

Yes, but there are a lot of guys on that 53 man roster who do not. I'd pull Manning and some of the other starters after about a half the next two weeks. Try to win with the backups.

I am divided on this one. I think that there is something to be said for guys coming into the playoffs in a groove having been playing instead of sitting on the bench.

That being said you also want to have players rested and ready to go, and you certainly don't want anyone to get hurt.

I would probably say play your starters for at least the first 1/2, maybe the whole game, depending on what the team as a whole wants.

Peyton hasn't missed a start in his entire career. I know anything can happen, but pulling him from the games to prevent injury seems uneccessary.

Play the starters enough to let them keep their rhythm. Anyone have an idea of the real numbers of how many injuries happen in practice rather than in games? I know, I know, you practice a whole lot more than you play games, but I think keeping the momentum going into the post season is key - and the Colts are firing on all cylinders. Somehow the bend but don't break D is keeping us in the games long enough to let our 6'5'', 230 pound laser rocket armed QB do his job.

I go for the undefeated season. You know that is what the players want and they can stay in sync and not get rusty. As soon as their is a comfortbale lead take the key guys out. There is no guarantee you win the SB either way and there really is no correct answer but at this point I think you have to go for the perfect season and forget about what outsiders are saying you should do and do what your team wants you to do.

I certainly wouldn't be wasting my time on this effing message board. I'd be in Vegas with the actual hot chicks that Tiger overlooked.

Also, I'd start my starters, and take them out in the second half only if the game was well in hand.

For starters, I'd be looking at the Colts boards, not a college basketball board.

Maybe Peyton Manning can mix in some more time for a MasterCard commercial.

The Colts have no balls.
