I was there. Those Winthrop Eagles can play some very impressive defense.

That's OK 49er. You're taking care of your business. That's all we can ask. Little roadie to Spartanburg, huh?
Hopefully, Lutes has recovered his stride after a few lean years.
Now, about that football thing......

Rock Hill, actually. Only about 45 minutes.
What about that football thing?

You're thinking of USC-Upstate.

Sorry. It is Rock Hill. Got my northern SC towns confused. I just know that they both have old Krispy Kreme diners.
Are you guys still trying to put a football program together and go back to CUSA?

Our ultimate goal is higher than that. I doubt we would rejoin C-USA as it stands now, even if it is a huge step up for football... it is far, far, far from worth it in basketball.
Unless we manage to get an offer from the Big East based on our football plans (and yes, I realize that there is little to no chance of that) I don't really foresee us leaving the A-10.
I would REALLY like to see the A-10 sponsor football again... but that is more because I hate the concept of single-sport memberships... it seems very bush league to me.
