This thread is dedicated to any of the arrogant SOB's that just can't stop gushing about how superior they are.
1st convict: Mack Brown, UT Head Coach
During the postgame interview where Nebraska handed them the B12 championship in a heartbreaker he says: "We always seem to beat Nebraska like this." As in, "normally we stab Nebraska with a last second jagged knife and plunge it 3 or 4 times."
Or, "it doesn't seem to matter what Nebraska does, we usually nullify their existance."
I'm not a Nebraska fan, but goddamn, this guy is a prick.
Up next...Roy Williams, UNC Head Coach

yeah, he's a goofy, awkward coach. He also delivered a couple lines that pissed off UC fans. But I've always heard that he's a really nice guy. Who knows?

I love Mack Brown. I think he is sincere and was saying that not to be a dick but saying it always seems it is a tough game, etc.
I also really like Roy Williams.

I don't dislike Brian Kelly by any means but what he said at halftime as he was going in to the locker room was ridiculous and made me want to punch him in the face.
For those not watching UC attempted a 55 yard field goal from the left hash and the kicker shanked it and wasn't even close. When being interviewed at halftime Kelly basically threw the kicker under the bus saying the kicker told him he could make it and it was a kid being too eager to get on the field and he shouldn't have lied to him.
I am sorry but A) it is ultimately his call to take the FG and B) the kicker has made a 55 yard FG and I would hope (and think that Kelly would hope) that the kicker believes he can make it. Just because your team is not playing well and you just missed a FG (and a very hard one at that) is no reason to completely call out one of your players on national TV.

What the hell does he care? The second Notre Dame comes calling Brian Kelly will forget that kid's name.

I totally agree on the B. Kelly halftime comments. He should know his kicker's range and deduct accordingly for the conditions. It's his call.

That might be true, but he made a point of saying we always beat them like this instead of we always play'm tight, etc.
Also from yesterday:
"I don't think there could be a better matchup than Texas and Alabama," Brown said.
What an honest opinion of himself!

Lane Kiffin, you deserve a punch in the face.
Success as a coordinator. Wow, congrats. You suck at leading teams.
Now he tells Tennessee fans, "This was a decision that came about really quickly..."
As in, "I'm an impulsive dickhead, me and my dad are outta here."
Then, of course, "I don't think there's probably another job I would have left for..."
HAHAHA!
**** you COACH!!! :)
I don't even like Tennessee that much. I just hate coaches the longer I live.

What a dickbag.

I realize I'm rehashing a few names, but here is my list in no particular order:
Rick Pitino, John Calipari, Jim Boeheim, Sean Miller, Bob Huggins, Rick Neuheisel, Nick Saban, Ozzie Guillen, Tony LaRussa, Thad Matta, Pete Carroll, Bill Belichick, Mike Shanahan, Digger Phelps (he used to be a coach, that counts right?)...I'm sure I'll think of more sooner or later
Honorable mention:
Charlie Weis - I couldn't stand his arrogance when he first started coaching at ND, but near the end he was definitely a beaten man and even a little humble.
Lane Kiffin - The only reason he doesn't make the list is because he hasn't been statistically successfull enough for me to take him seriously. Now, being hired at USC may imply otherwise, but I still view him more as a sideshow.

I'm getting increasingly tired of the Marvin Lewis "show" here in Bengal-land. I'd love for the Bengals to dump him and bring in Bill Cowher (but we have as much of a chance of that happening as we do of the Bengals replacing Katie Blackburn with a real GM).

I didn't take that as prickish on Brown's part and I've also heard he's a genuinely good guy. There aren't many coaches who haven't come across the wrong way in press conferences at one point or another, but I don't think he came across the wrong way there. Roy Williams, however, is way too emotional and sensitive for my liking.

This is gospel. Any time I think about whining about something I think of Boeheim and remind myself who I don't want to be like. Also, Lane Kiffin tops the list of biggest douchebags in coaching. He stands alone. His resume: Son of successful coach, shitty assistant at USC, shitty NFL head coach, talks a lot of shit, shitty coach at Tennessee, talks even more shit, back to USC where he will bring them down to the shits. The guy features more shitiness than the inside of Andre Blache's shoe.

And yet, Lane still thinks pretty darn highly of himself. What a shock.
From what I saw yesterday, he is merely the inner ego of every coach personified. A living, breathing, self-important shit-head.
Any thread that mentions Lane Kiffin is worthless without a picture of his wife.
