Mick flat out cost them that ballgame. 15 seconds left, 2 timeouts remaining tied in regulation, and he lets a freshman try to make something off the dribble.

He deserves all the criticism he will get for this one.

That team is going to have to win in spite of Cronin. Stevenson for the win is one thing, he can pull up or get to the glass and get fouled. Wright, who has looked awful, got the shot to tie? Thats the best they could do? Wow.

They are VERY talented, and may just win in spite of Cronin.

The alley oop at the end of regulation was without a doubt a foul though. For some reason the refs swallowed their whisles. It was one of the most horrific non calls I have seen in quite some time.

And Cronin can't coach. How do you let it happen like that?

I HATE dayton.

UClifton lost the game at the line, 5 for 7 in OT.

their team is extremely boring to watch, bad shooting, fouls nonstop. gonzaga was in the bonus with like 12 minutes left in the second half. screw uc

I went to bed with about 14 minutes left and UC up 38-28. If there was some way both teams could have lost, that would have been optimal. But, given that's not the case, I am glad the Jesuits beat them. I would to hang another Jesuit beating on the University of Clifton on December 13th.

I have to say the officials swallowed their whistles a lot last night. Besides you can't let a game like that be decided by free throws. I suppose you thought there was another foul at the end of the overtime too. Mick has no control of his team. Did anyone see a UC offense or something that look like an offense?

I fully expect every UC troglodyte to complain for the next week about the no-call on Gates, even those that weren't watching the game.

UC is basically back to the Thuggs days -- their offense consists of Stephenson careening toward the hoop and abusing people on the offensive glass, and their defense consists of playing rugby. I suspect their 5-4 fetus head coach won't be able to intimidate the refs the way the Revolting Bob did, however.

Guys, UC is a fotball school now. They haven't even noticed that basketball season has started as evidenced by their low attendance numbers.
