That group is called anonymous. I was in Paris last summer and saw them doing a protest in front a scientology building.

I used to work above the Cincinnati "Church" of Scientology branch downtown and they had a couple hundred of these guys protesting one day. It was pretty funny.
Scientologists are freaking crazy.

From the 4chan message boards. If anyone has any time to kill, google "4chan and scientology" the fight between these two groups is pretty funny. It's also pretty amazing to think that a group of "anonymous" computer geeks on a message board can mobilize as well as they have.

Can we just give him his own forum and restrict him from posting new threads elsewhere? Just call it "Pointless rants." I'm sure he won't be alone.
It would help if threads from that forum are NOT posted on the home page so we can avoid accidentally clicking on them, thinking they are legitimate conversations.

The funny thing is on my flight on my way to Paris I read an article in either a newspaper or magazine that I bought in the terminal that had a really long article about the fight between the two, and then I actually saw them protesting when I got there. It is amazing how well they mobilize. Must not have much else to do.

I disagree with almost everything Guy posts, but his one-out-of-100 posts make it worth it for me. Out of the above, I remember the Lemons post being pretty funny in the context of the other threads on the board at the time.

Interesting...I just typed in "V for Vendetta mask" into google and that picture came up. I had no idea it was any kind of large movement.

I don't support banning him from posting on other's threads, but you have to admit the ones he creates are pretty pointless. This coming from someone who loves pointless when it's amusing.

I endorse the "GuyFawkes38 Containment Forum" concept. Additionally it should be unviewable by all non-GuyFawkes38 members.

Where is the legend Guy Fawkes Himself? Surely he will be happy to see an entire thread dedicated to himself. I cannot wait for his rebuttal

ahhhh, what a great list of the classics.
I do think it's important to note that over the past 6 months I have started less threads than I used to.
My policy right now is to only start new threads on the important, big picture stuff. The Cake Boss looking like Sean Miller certainly seems to qualify. They do look exactly like each other. It's worth a new thread.
Additionally, Chris Mack's love for Oprah qualifies as big picture. I doubt many people out there knew that he loves Oprah and thinks she an amazing woman.
Maybe the "Am I a Slut" thread wasn't necessary. But I do think it's was an interesting topic worth delving into.

That could be considered "Mack needs to Tweet" since we found out about his love for the O through a tweet

I'm technically not part of the administration.
My reduced posting really reflects my new maturity. I've tried to stay away from topics about old people stealing my tax dollars (which they are!!!). Instead, I'm highlighting more interesting subjects like the whole Cake Boss thing.

I doubt this is true, but I've heard that as a scientologist you are technically a "priest". And as such, you do not have to pay taxes. So, these high money people become scientologist as a way to avoid taxes (although I also hear it is expensive to be a scientologist, but less than their taxes would be).

I have no actual knowledge, but I don't believe this is true.
