UC is an improved team. I'm glad Mick Cronin is their coach and that we are playing them at Cintas.

Rebounding was certainly the big difference in this game. UC really took it to Vandy on the glass. I think it is safe to say Love / McLean will pose a bigger challenge down low than A.J. Ogilvy come December.

UC has definitely improved. I'm glad. The Shootout is a lot more fun when both teams are good.

Year-In and Year-Out Vandy always has a great recruiting class. They never really seem to put it together though.

UC could be tough this year. I expect them to be pretty tough. Makes the shootout a huge game for us.

If they can get a win over Maryland (I'm assuming Maryland beats Chaminade - which, unfortunately is not DBrown's high school team) UC could vault into the Top 25. This would definitely be a good thing for X; another ranked team on the schedule and more attention for the Shootout.

UC beating Maryland by 10 with under 13 to go. They must be playing awfully good defense these 2 games.

I hate to say but this is the best Uclifton has looked since Thuggins coached. They're crashing boards.
It would be great to have X and uc in the top 25 for the Shootout.

Early season has never been a problem for Cronin it's the end of the season when his teams have sucked.

UC looked pretty stacked. Many of their players have a similar makeup and they can play multiple positions. I think they've been working on defense more than offense, but just from one game to the next they seem to be figuring out more ways to score. They are not the scoring machine XU is right now. If Gates ever figures out how to move to the basket better, watch out. He is a load.

I don't know exactly why Maryland and Vandy were ranked. UC handled them both pretty well. So either UC is much better than anticipated or the national expectations for those two teams were over rated. It's probably somewhere in between.

Whether they win or lose tomorrow, I'd say Maui has been pretty successful for UC. XU's RPI should be well served by this.
