This is why I love Twitter. who would have thought:

Oprah announcing tomorrow that her last show will be Sept 9 2011. The BEST talk show ever. Amazing lady who the world will miss!

Is it okay for a guy to admit he's a big fan of Oprah? Oprah has revolutionized day time talk shows. You have to appreciate that.

Plus admitting that he loves Oprah has to comfort the recruits' moms. It signals that he's emotionally comfortable with himself.

I'm okay with it. What do you all think?

I think she needed at headquarters to stop Obama Llama from sucking his thumb.

I couldn't quote in different threads, so this will have to do...

Is there some sort of "Nerd Alert" tag we
can put on this thread.

Come on now Xu2006. I'm trying to have a serious discussion on Chris Mack's love of Oprah.

She has a talk show? I thought she was just in the Color Purple movie.
They give a talk shows to anyone now-a-days, but it's kind of wierd that it's being cancelled aready. Ratings must have been pretty bad. Maybe she should have given some stuff away to attract an audience.

Maybe if she were to have sex with Jerry Springer ratings would improve.

Most talk show ratings are down as well as a lot of TV programming right now. She wanted to get her 25 years in and move one while still somewhat important.

Chris Mack is so gay... I mean brave, to tweet that stuff. (Relax, it's a joke.)

The Mack Xpress rolls on.

From what I've heard is that Oprah is canceling her show in 2011 but in the same year is planning on starting her own network, no doubt that she will have some sort of show on that.

I just spoke to a source close to Chris Mack.

According to my source, Chris Mack is very comfortable with himself. Yes, he enjoys daytime talk shows (he tries to watch The View and was a fan of Tony Danza's show). He believes such shows provide an interesting perspective for those willing to have an open mind.

While he's at, he admits that he loves to watch an occasional chick flick.

I'm fine with all of it.

I would say she is still a lot more than just somewhat important.

Coach Mack is stopping over at my house tonight to watch some game film followed by a viewing of Steel Magnolias.

That doesn't surprise me.

Additionally, my source just told me that Mack is a big fan of Oprah's book club and he's worried that her book club might end.

Just got word that Chris Mack "almost" cried when he watched Oprah's announcment yesterday. It was a sad moment. Oprah, herself, cried.

Hey, none of us are perfect.

By the way, Sept. of 2011...just in time to help Obama with his 2012 campaign push. Then again, he started campaigning for 2012 in November of 2008.

Coach Mack just had an Oprah like moment earlier today:

Made a HUGE leaf pile in the front yard. Girls having a great time jumping in. Kids are so carefree, great lesson for adults. Enjoy life!!

Guy's every post is a HUGE, steaming pile.

I think we should have annual poster cuts to keep the roster slimmer and free of glaring weaknesses. Either that or we just rig a lottery where the "winner" gets stoned by the rest of the village.

Did the Baylor games tapes get erased?

X-band '01

Erased just like WHIO's TV signal. The Bengals game was pixellating for 3 quarters and then completely disappeared in the 4th quarter.

I just spoke to my source close to Chris Mack. Mack is beyond frustrated.

Regardless, he can't wait to get back home. He has a couple Oprah episodes on DVR, which typically get him in a good mood. He's also working through a couple "Chicken soup for the soul" books.
