SHU (our opponent on Saturday) lost to Fordham by 10 pts tonight. Their G, Corey Hassan, lead all scorers with 33.

With Fordham winning, it looks like Xavier is in for another 100 pt game this weekend. Maybe we can win by 75 like Tenn did yesterday.

Said guard also led SHU with 11 rebounds. This game is going to get out of hand quickly.

I'd personally enjoy seeing a 108+ performance. That's the most I have ever seen in person.

It really could happen. You have to be bad to lose to Fordham by double digits.

X fans look kinda goofy bitching about having to play Fordham, when the administration turns around and pays to play a team the level of Sacred Heart.

BTW, congrats to Fordham. I'm sure the fans are excited that their program has finally turned the corner.

Sacred Heart doesn't receive a share of the NCAA tourney $$'s that X pulls in, and there are no games at their place either.

Waggy,

Have you tried telling your co-workers who your next opponent is without feeling some sense of embarassment/ridicule? "I thought that was an elementary school!"

Let's see their RPI is probably awful, we have to pay them to come here. Tell me again what the upsides are? That said I am looking forward to the double header - women vs. Arizona State at 2, men vs Sacred Heart at 7:30. Men's season ticket holders already have tickets to both games on their ticket sheet. Now I sort of wish the men's game started a bit earlier, say like 6:00? That way the women's game could end at 4:00 or so, and at 4:30 we could hit Club Blue for dinner.

I heard it was a "she." Maybe she brought a friend to the SH game.

Last time I was in Rose Hill was when I lived in NYC...back in 2000. Can't believe its been that long...and that guy was old then. I don't know which was funnier...watching that guy try and get the 10 students in the student section fired up. Or watching Obi Harris...who appeared drunk or high (or both) yelling out "Yo Skip! Yo Skip!" and waving at him from across the court DURING THE GAME.
