A win today over a ranked team would be unbelievable for the conference, and a great way to start the year.

Temple looks like unmitigated refuse in the early going. They have 7 points in 15 minutes of play. Somehow, they are only down 9.

OMG Temple vs Goergetown is such a boring game......niether team can really score...I was expecting a good game not a boring game...

Georgetown is leading 19-13 over Temple at the half.

Both programs should get the death penalty for this debacle.

I'm trying to figure out how two programs with D1 talent can be this bad. Why in the world would any kid want to play at Georgetown using that style of offense.

Those of you that turned this off in disgust may be interested to know that Temple is leading the game 32-31 with 12 minutes left.

Roger that, Cheese. Am I the only guy who thinks that this ESPN broadcast team blows donkeys? Not only that, they don't seem to understand that there is another club besides GU on the court.

I don't generally mind Len Elmore, but yeah, these guys came in expecting to see a G-town cakewalk and clearly prepared for that.

Mike Patrick cavorts with the beasts of the field.

Agreed, they continually spoke in the first about how abysmal Temple's shooting was (which it was), but neglected to mention Georgetown was only up 6. Equally dismal shooting. Spread the loathing.

And if these announcers continue to burn valuable air time as they pimp ESPN's worthless "Encyclopedia of Basketball," I'm going to direct the Vatican Guard to render them to an undisclosed location, where I will personally waterboard them with Lourdes water until dead.

Georgetown's student section is weaksauce. Maybe the time of the game is the reaason for the poor student attendance...But still weaksauce.

Who knows? With that water they may come back from the dead. In which you could then kill them again. We can only hope.

C'mon Temple! 6/12 at the FT line isnt helping them hold onto this game.

I like that--we often hoard loathing, which isn't fair to the other losers.

45-44 Temple with 55.1 secs left Georgetown ball. I'm actually really into this game because the A10 needs these good wins. C'mon Temple.

If Temple loses this game they have no one to blame but themselves because of their FT shooting.

GT up by 1 6.5 secs left. Temple ball.

Temple blew it. Missed opportunity. FT shooting killed them. I am mad. Damn.

Temple will not shoot that bad the rest of the year. Disappointing. Missed opportunity.

Guzman's penance: five our fathers, five hail marys, a month of being shunned and scorned by teammates, family, and friends.

Oh, and as the play-by-play guy just said, "Georgetown really EARNED one here!"

I just finished watching that Temple game and you're right. Temple blew it. Missed free throws and they had an open man in the lane on that last second attempt. Time to root for Charlotte over Duke. I Hate Duke so much.

What was up with the crowd at Iowa? Were there 1000 people at that game?

Good win for the Ducks of Death, I think. Iowa looked horrible.

Duquesne should have spanked Iowa, but I guess any win is a good one with Bolding out. I read that it was Duquesne's first win over a Big 10 team since 1973.
