I really hope they lose. It doesn't really matter, but it would be embarassing. I want that.

Final Score: NKU 61 Dayton 71. Do not know if Dayton was again without Chris Wright.

Wright and Marcus Johnson both played, neither started, both played 22 minutes. UD was up 7 at half, game was never really in question.

It didn't seem Palmer did as well v Flyers as he did v X, but NKU announcers said he was doubled and tripled often. NKU could win the Div 2.

I never once saw Palmer double and certainly not triple teamed, there are few players worthy of a triple team in college basketball. All who guarded him Huelsman (who did the best job on him), Benson, Searcy, Wright, and Kavs all guarded him straight up. He couldn't budge against Wright or Huelsman. Benson blocked a jump shot attempt on him and not from behind. I think KH had a block shot on him also.
Palmer is a beast though. Has a Wright style body minus the the super athleticism.
It was actually NKU's guard play in the first half that actually kept this game close. After a rough first few min for them they went absolutely infuego from the outside.

Palmer's a stud. It's a shame Iowa is such a train wreck, because he would be a nice player for them. I was really happy with the way UD's bigs contained him. And jcub is right, there were very few times UD collapsed on him. They left the center to play him straight up.
I was really happy to see Kavanaugh push him around quite a bit for a 4 minute stretch.
I'm satisfied with where UD is right now. No where near where they can be and should be come March, but they look ready to go. Creighton will be a very good test on Saturday.
