Exciting News for 2010

Per goxavier.com Xavier has once again been selected to host the 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCAA tournament in 2011. That will mean that two years in a row the Muskies have the opportunity to play NCAA tournament games at home! Great News!

Dayton is also a regional site in 2011 - that would be awfully nice to get to see a potential Final 4 run within a 50-mile radius.

Part of me thinks that is good for Xavier because of the reason you stated. And the other part is infuriated that the NCAA continues to give that hell hole a chance to make money every year, now for the women's tournament as well.

So is this a sign that ticket sales have been strong for our games this year? I am the proud owner of 2 all game passes, can't wait to see tournament level ball. Here is to hoping they send some really nice teams to our arena.

So I'll be watching the selection show not only to see where our team goes but to see who I get to watch play.
