View Full Version : Isiah Thomas = pansy

Isiah Thomas, Pete Garcia and the rest of the "sans balls" club at FIU are threatening to skip a tournament because they have been slotted against UNC in the opening round instead of tOSU as Thomas was originally told. The contract, however, apparently gives the organizers the right to put them against either team.
But here's the part that gets me. When Thomas was asked a while ago about opening with tOSU, this was his take:
"Big Ten country," he said. "If at some point and time you're going to be able to compete with the big boys, you might as well jump right into the fire and get started."
OK, so if you want to compete with the big boys then you might as well jump right in, why not jump in against UNC? Oh, I get it, Isiah. You're a pansy ass who wants to play the pseudo-big boys. You didn't actually mean you wanted to jump in against the true big boys.
I can't wait to see Thomas and Garcia (Butch Davis' talent guru with the Browns...yep, that worked out well) run FIU into the ground. They're both scumbags who deserve to be at the bottom of the rubble pile after the program crumbles. The fact that either of those douchbags can find quality jobs is absolutely astounding.
Here's the ESPN story if you want to read it:

UNC should be at least beatable at the start of the season, man up Thomas.

Isiah probably thinks he has a better chance of beating OSU. In a profession where a coach is judged by wins and losses I see his point. That said, if the contract lets the match-ups get switched he should deal with it.

After reading the article, I'm almost at a loss for words. Some third tier program is complaining because they were supposed to play OSU, who would kick their ass, but instead they got NC, who would kick their ass a little more? What am I missing here?

I'm guessing it has something to with his recruiting plan and recruiting in "Big Ten country" as he puts it.

I didn't really think they would headline a story with "Douchnozzle Thomas", but it would have been more appropiate.

Yeah, why would you want to recruit in ACC country? Nobody good ever comes from the East Coast. And I can say for damn well sure that no Muskie who hails from NC will ever amount to, umm, err, never mind.

Can X take FIU's place in the coachs vs. cancer tourney? If not, I'm sure there are other schools that would be willing to play.

I hope Isaiah and his illegal recruiting tactics go 4-24 this season. He's a douche.

I am still amazed that a university hired that doucher to coach.

Does this mean that Isaiah Thomas is for cancer? It really seems like he is missing the point of the tournament and it sure as hell isn't to appease Isaiah Thomas.
