Paul Hogue, Cincinnati Basketball Star, Is Dead at 69

CINCINNATI (AP) — Paul Hogue, a star center on Cincinnati’s back-to-back national championship basketball teams, died Monday. He was 69.
His wife of 43 years, Patti Hogue, said the cause was heart and kidney failure.
Hogue, at 6 feet 9, helped lead the Bearcats to N.C.A.A. championships in 1961 and 1962, both times defeating Ohio State squads led by Jerry Lucas in the title games.
