He's really stooped to trying for recruits with stereotype Suburban housewives for mothers.

That or recruits who look like this

I thought that Miller had lost his mind when he took the job. This is the final proof needed that he has had a psychotic break with reality. The poor man needs help.

Was this his way of begging the U of A fans to come out and see "our guys play????????"
Wonder if he'll have to tell fans how to cheer ? Naw, they're too big and good for that.
BUT HE SURE AS HELL HAD BETTER WIN . No kid likes to see his father hanged in effigy and they tie pretty realistic nooses out there.:D:D:D

Did he lose weight? He looks thinner in this picture. Maybe it is the airbrushing.

Do we really have any reason to think Sean is going to get in trouble for ethical concerns? Don't get me wrong, I am in the camp that says the deciding factor in Sean's departure was money. But leaving for a bigger paycheck, even after all of the "promises" (or near promises) he made, does not drive me to believe he would do *anything* to win (in the Coach Cal sense).

But wow, he really does look like a tool in that picture.

I thought this was a joke out of someone's photoshop, but I can now see it was actually published.

How people handle success and how much success they can handle is a personal thing. Look, maybe the photo shoot was a real hoot. Sean did great things for us. I'm over it because I'm confident that Chris Mack will be excellent. Arizona is a great program and hopefully Sean will do well there as a reflection on America's Basketball College of Coaches.

This just doesn't happen to be a sound start in the national media for him.

I do enjoy how Arizona fans think that Sean enjoyed this picture and wanted to do this. I guarantee he hated this. He sweats like a pig. If his air conditioner in AZ ever broke he would take the very first job offer that came his way. He took the AZ job because of the money and THEN because of the prestige. He was close enough to Bobo to know what Xavier's price range was and he knew that Arizona's AD was getting fired if he didn't sign a big name coach so Sean got the big bucks and all the control of the program he could possibly want. If it was apples to apples and previoues success was all that mattered Sean would still be at Xavier and he wouldn't look like such a douche.

Gladdenguy is still puking in a bucket somewhere, too weak to post his reaction to this picture.

I am still very appreciative of the Sean Miller years at Xavier. I am confident in Mike Bobinski, and his ability to spot coaching talent. I have no doubt Chris Mack is the right guy for Xavier, and will do even bigger and better things than Sean Miller.

I just don't have the time or energy to be bitter or hold a grudge because Sean took a big sack of money to work somewhere else. I hope to be in position to do the same thing in my career.

I love money.

As a UofA fan, that killed me. Mostly by laughter. A+ diss. Two million theoretical dollars.

About the magazine cover. Clearly Miller did this to ingratiate himself with the people of Tucson. And the money. More of the second than the first. My question is, is this a one time fluke thing, or is Miller consistently this hokey? I just want to know if I have to brace myself for more stuff like this in the years to come.

clpayne4 knows how to make a good first impression on the board. Dayton/UC and other rival fans should take note. It was very humble and showed that he actually knew a little bit about our program.

As for Sean, it is just funny. He genuinely hates this. Xavier fans don't like to give Sean credit anymore but they know he is only doing this to amuse the AZ fan base, just like he did when he defended the Atlantic 10 to the media every single time he had a press conference. He absolutely hated doing it but he knew he had to for the fans' sake. Everyone and their mother knows 99% of the reason that Sean left is the money, not because he was a scumbag or he didn't like Xavier or he thought AZ had a great tradition. He will do great things there and the fans will love him, I think both programs have a lot to feel good about for the future.

But in general he was good for us, very good for us. He is a nice guy and I think he took the money. I love money too. I think Sean could be a happy man with all that money, and that wife is looking good. Some might say that Sean has the stars aligned.

I actually think Sean looks great in the photo. I think his wife looks great too. And I would leave everyone of you sons of bitches for that kind of money in a heartbeat. I wouldn't steal your recruits though, and I would still write...

The story is Natyazkho was ready to go to PiTT (Until miller landed at AZ)

Miller on Kyryl Natyazhko, a 6-foot-10 Ukranian.

“I had been recruiting him at Xavier and couldn’t get him to sign,” Miller said. “Then, two days after I took the job at Arizona he signed without ever visiting the campus.”

Kids seem to love Sean Miller. He's actually about to get one of the top shooting guards in the country here shortly in (2010) Daniel Bejarano. This was the first time I saw this magazine cover...and I don't like it. Daniel decommited from Texas due to a tragedy in the family. Sendek of ASU has known Bejarano for 2 years and was fulling expecting a commitment from Daniel. He spent a couple hours with Sean and he doesn't seem very interested in Sendek anymore.

To answer some of the questions for Kreal. He was injured before he got to Arizona. It was his ankle which has since healed and he's been progressing very, very well. They seem to think he will be a major contributor this season. ASU and Pitt were considered the leaders for K-Real. Pitt was very confident that they were going to land Kreal, but Miller beat out Sendek and Dixon for him. Also, Pitt was very confident about Kevin Parrom as well. Brian Snow also told us that he thought for sure Arizona was too far away from Parrom and that he would likely end up closer to home.

Miller has won some very big battles in recruiting so far. Momo Jones was said to be headed to Florida for sure and that came from very good sources. However, Miller beat out Donovan for Jones even though Florida lost Calathes and Jai Lucas making the pg spot basically his for the taking. Derrick Williams was being recruited very hard after he decomed from USC, UConn, Kentucky, UCLA, Washington, etc all tried to get a commitment from Derrick. Solomon Hill was the only kid that we knew was a UA lock if we hired a decent coach. He was commited to Arizona, but when Lute had a stroke and had to step down, he gave a verbal to USC, but told Arizona that he wouldn't sign an LOI until he saw who Arizona hired.

I know you guys are pissed at Miller and I don't blame you guys, I really don't. However, he is a good guy, and he works his ass off on the recruiting trail. He loved his time at Xavier, but decided to move on to another opportunity. When he left, a great opportunity opened up for Coach Mack a Musky grad. I think both coaches will make the most of their opportunity. I think X has a very bright future ahead.
