ODDSMAKERS THROW WRENCH INTO 2010 FAVORITES

Hoops fans already know the ideal game for the 2009-10 season: Kansas vs. Kentucky.

Turns out oddsmakers feel the same way. Sportsbook.com installed the Jayhawks as 4-1 favorites to win the NCAA tournament next season. Kentucky’s right behind at 5-1.

The small surprise is who’s right behind the blue bloods.

I would really like to know where we woiuld have been in that discussion had we not lost Sean and Derrick. Or would we have been in that discussion at all? We'll never know.

It's interesting how much past history and the size of a school's fan base influences the odds makers.

Is Butler really that much better than Dayton? Does Arizona and OSU really deserve such impressive odds?

We are 80 to 1 and Dayton is 200 to 1??? How is that, I thought Dayton was already declared the paper champion of the A10 for next season.....so we do have a chance, it must be our easy schedule and Dayton's hard schedule (please note I have sarcasm in this statement).......
