Nice to see a big man that can get up and down the court and get up.

At 6-7 seems a wee bit undersized for a Center but hey

Bob Pelkington was 6'7". Even when he played for XU, that height was small for a starting center. However, Bob was one tough hombre and an absolute rebounding machine!

True, to some extent. I mean, we've seen how players like CJ Anderson and Justin Cage can succeed in the Xavier system, particularly on the glass. And with the fast-paced, athletic swing forwards and guards we are looking to bring in, the #6 ranked center in the country would be a nice compliment, regardless of height. 230 lbs. is pretty big for a high school kid too, so imagine what he could do in the weight room here, with a real strength coach. I'm thinking a Jamel McLean type, but with better all-around skills.

We can always slide him over to the four if he is athletic enough, and at 6'7 that is plenty tall to play the four. Also, like you mention he is 230 lbs... that is solid right now but imagine how much bulk he could put on. Maybe we could turn him into a Dejuan Blair type?... of course that's 35 more pounds but you never know.

This was my thought exactly, assuming we can bring in someone else of size by Black's junior year. Remember, Black would still have two years of banging around with Kenny Frease under his belt.
