The Memphis men's basketball program has been charged by the NCAA with major violations during the 2007-08 season under former coach John Calipari, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reported on Wednesday.

The allegations include "knowing fraudulence or misconduct" on an SAT exam by a player on the 2007-08 team.

To the moderators: there's too many message boards on this site. 90% of posts are on Xavier hoops. Why move the occasional non Xavier post anywhere else? Does not make sense. The best set-up is a one-stop shop for all Xavier and college hoops news...

Or... you could click the new posts button at the top of the page like 60-85% of the other people. Trust me you get used to it. Also, if you start on the front page when you come on the site, look in the left pane... it has all the new posts.

Nocal, this website is set up so easily, if it is not on Xavier and not an A10 team then you choose the NCAA board...simple....is the California life that laid back that it is hard to make the extra click....(please note, I am just giving you shit)

It's no more an embarrassment to UK than it is to UMass if the allegations are indeed true. The ultimate irony in all of this is that Calipari can win a clean national title at Kentucky while leaving UMass as a shell of their former selves. Memphis will take some time because of a weak C-USA, but they'll soon be a shadow of their former selves as well.
