Baseball Team Heading to Houston

The NCAA Baseball Tournament brackets were released today. Xavier was a 3 seed (out of 4). Here is the bracket (it is double elimination).

1. Rice (host)
4. Sam Houston State

3. Xavier
2. Kansas State


Games are May 29-June 1

I posted this on the thread in the basketball forum, but I figured I would post it here as well.

I've seen Kansas State play this season, against Kansas (who is also a #3 seed)...and though I'm not a baseball analyst, here's my thoughts. They are pretty good in the field, but don't expect many diving plays. If XU can get anything going at the plate then they have a good chance...KSU's main strength is their pitching.

They are a very solid team, but come in on a bit of a slump. XU has a ton of momentum having won 14 of their last 16. Let's Go X!
