Scout doesn't show Jelan as having any interest in X! What are you talking about?

Rivals has him on the XU list....Scout is slow and lumbering, rivals is better...

Coach: Kendrick no longer with Memphis Tigers basketball


MEMPHIS, Tenn. — University of Memphis freshman guard Jelan Kendrick is off the team.

According to a news release from the school, head coach Josh Pastner announced the change on Saturday. He did not elaborate other than to say that they decided it was best to part ways.

Pastner said the 19th ranked team is thankful for Kendrick's time with the program and wishes him the best.

The 6-foot-6 guard from Atlanta missed two weeks of preseason practice for "personal reasons" and had just been reinstated Nov. 4.

A McDonald's All-American, Kendrick was rated the No. 8 prospect by Rivals.com.
