He says it's not happening, but we all know that it could if enough money was thrown at him. Here's the link:

I like that he says neither he nor anyone representing him has contacted the Kings. It does not rule out Sacramento contacting him. Of course he might have said it and it was just left out of the story. Time will tell...

I would absolutely love it if Pitino jumped to the NBA.

Is it too early to discuss Mack going to Louisville?

L'ville should go for DC if Pitino leaves. No chance in hell that he will be banging the equipment manager's wife.

The NBA is hard work. Pitino went to Louisville for the semi-retirement job.

You don't go to Louisville to semi-retire.
I do think the whole college thing has been harder for him than he thought it would be. He's done a nice job at Louisville, but one Final Four and a couple of other Elite Eights mixed in is not exactly setting the world on fire (it would be at Xavier, of course). I think he thought he could go to Louisville and do the same thing he did at Kentucky in the '90s, but the basketball world has changed too much since then.

I think you are crazy GoMuskies. I think he is setting the world on fire and I don't think Louisville fans would have any other coach.
